Course Details
This course will introduce learners to the desktop publishing software. Students will plan, design, and produced business-quality publications such as web pages, letterhead, flyers, brochures, forms, and newsletters.

    Procedure:
    Assignments: 50-70%, Final 30-50%, Total 100%. Grading procedures follow NVIT policy.
    Learning Outcomes:

    Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:



    • apply layout and design principles to creation of desktop publishing documents;

    • create, edit and format a variety of different types of business publications using current desktop publishing software;

    • identify and use typographic controls and special effects; and

    • use templates, master pages, and style sheets to produce consistent documents efficiently.
