Course Details
This course will further develop the student's self-awareness, self-management and self-development. Using 'Guiding Circles' curriculum the students will examine their roles and responsibilities in relation to personal and professional boundaries. In addition, they will explore goals and will practice prioritizing and time management.

    Instructors Qualifications: Relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
    Office Hours: 1.5 Per week.

    Procedure:
    Assignments 50 - 70%, Final 30 - 50%. Grading procedures follow NVIT policy.
    Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to:
  • demonstrate self- awareness, self-management, and self-development skills;

  • create a personal portfolio for assessment, management and development of self;

  • create a personal wellness plan based on Guiding Circles curriculum;

  • demonstrate the ability to identify self-management tools for decision making, goals, prioritizing and time management; and

  • identify personal strengths and weaknesses using the Medicine Wheel.
