Graduation

All NVIT students must apply to graduate in order to receive their credentials. If you are completing a program and not attending a ceremony, a graduation application is still required. You can apply at any time through NVIT Self Service. Here, you can also RSVP to attend the Graduation Ceremony.

The deadline to apply to attend the Graduation Ceremony is March 31, 2024. The graduation ceremony fee ($79.59) must be paid by the March 31st deadline to participate in a ceremony.

Ensure your information is correct

View your personal and program information in myNVIT to ensure it is correct before you submit your application to graduate.

• Name changes: You must provide the Registrar's Office with official documentation showing a name change.
• Address changes: You can update your address through myNVIT.

To register for the Graduation Ceremony, check the Commencement box while completing these steps.

Status of your application

Once you have applied, your application will be reviewed and you will receive a letter and/or email stating if you qualify for graduation.

Participation in the Graduation Ceremony depends on the following

• All coursework is or will be completed by the end of July
• All fees owing (finance, library, etc.) are paid in full
• All term marks are input into the student record system
