In June 2022, the NVIT Board of Governors held their annual planning retreat and engaged in strategic planning to develop the 2023–28 Strategic Plan. Following the Board retreat, NVIT’s Leadership Team, along with our Elders and all NVIT employees, engaged in strategic planning workshops to further define our Mission, Vision and Values. The NVIT Board of Governors approved NVIT’s new 2023-28 Strategic Plan on November 22, 2022. Continuing with the four strategic directions, NVIT’s new plan is built upon Indigenous Ways of Knowing, Being and Doing. It provides Indigenous people and our allies the education, strength and leadership required to rebuild, enhance, and grow Indigenous communities.
