NVIT's Merritt campus is home to 933 learners and also supports 691 community learners.
Our Merritt campus is located on the unceded traditional territories of the Nle?kepmx and Syilx people. Merritt, BC is a small community nestled in the Nicola Valley. It is ideally situated for those who seek a peaceful country living with easy access to urban centres. It is a one-hour drive to Kam loops and Kelowna, and a three-hour drive to Vancouver.
NVIT's Merritt campus offers learners on-campus housing, daycare and up to 20 different programs. Merritt offers an array of entertainment and recreational activities encouraging individuals to get directly involved with the community. These include a friendship centre, numerous clubs, organizations, youth groups and sports teams.
NVIT's Vancouver satellite campus, located in Burnaby, BC, is home to 201 learners.
Programs at this campus include: Chemical Addictions Worker Certificate/Diploma/Advanced Diploma, Associate of Arts Degrees in Criminology, First Nations Studies or General Arts and a Bachelor of Social Work Degree.
Our Vancouver campus is located on the unceded traditional territory of the Coast Salish. The three host nations of this region are Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam.
