NLEK-121 - Nle?kepmx Language Everyday Action And Interaction - 3.00 Credits

Course Details
This course develops Nle?kepmx language proficiency in adult learners. Students will actively participate in class action-based activities. Students will develop skills in interacting in oral Nle?kepmx language using basic foundational phrases for interactive contexts. All instruction and activities take place in the Nle?kepmx language. Total Physical Response (TPR) method will be used to imbed action contexts.

    Procedure:
    Assignments 50-70%, Final 30-50%, Total 100%. Grading procedures follow NVIT policy.
    Learning Outcomes:

    Upon successful completion of this course students should be able to:



    • demonstrate an ability to develop listening, understanding and speaking skills relevant to Nłeʔkepmx language;

    • apply and use the command form of the verbs for action contexts:

    • demonstrate an ability to build vocabulary of action-based words, phrases and contexts; and

    • demonstrate an ability to correctly respond in action-based contexts.
